Designed for Heat, Designed for Iraq ForcedAIR™ cooling vest (patent and pat. pend.) is the first vest designed for use under the Interceptor vest
with no adaptation to the OTV. This product is now being redesigned to
fit new tactical vest. It will incorporate new information gained in wind
tunnel testing done with the older vest. Standard unit weights just UNDER
5lb
(including batteries) and operates for 4 hours continuously on a industrial
density rechargeable poly lithium ion battery. A new design available in
October is expected to exceed 200watts of heat removal. An accessory water injection
system that uses extremely small amounts of water is presently being tested
that will further enhance this system.
